Like, how would YOU have implemented a Vampire Hunter without using a crossbow or other tools other classes already have? I don't think it's possible without going for an "Alucard" type vibe and having him be a noble artistocrat who slays vampires with a rapier and a wooden stake or such such.

HWM and GR fill different rolls. The HWM is more straight damage with self-buffing whereas the GR is more focused on mobility and relies on crits. The HWM is sturdier with more health and can bleed enemies and the GR is more fragile with less health but more speed and can blight enemies. HWM's skills are stronger baseline but are more limited in their positional use and the GR has weaker baseline damage but is more flexible in both her position as well as the enemy's.
