Tower Unite is the first game that clicked with me for a while, but holy fuck the community is god awful.

Anyone here play, not have porn "ironically" plastered on every wall of their home, and not scream memes and nigger every 10 minutes?

I wanted to enjoy every aspect of this game when I bought it, but those 'multiple games' are consistently forgotten and/or overshadowed by the Casino, which every on-hand player immediately rushes to and camps at for days at a time.

I mean honestly, join any server and look at the player list; 80 percent of them are at the fucking Casino and none of them will agree to join you. What's the point of even having the minigames in the first place?

I try to get shit going and pubs will usually only want to play Ball Race, can't blame them since shit like Virus sucks.

Also gmod towers whole condo thing was better than tower unites houses. It was cool walking past rooms with people having parties and watching shit on their TVs.

As someone who always wanted to play but never did, I disagree completely but understand. I have HL2 Deathmatch maps that are cozier to me than anything.

Tower is a half finished mess atm and even now they have all sorts of cozy shit. The casino on a busy weekend night, the bowling alley on the pier, the underwater and highrise condos that just dropped, Watching youtube with buddies while its thundering outside.

Pretty dead on weekdays but picks up at night and a lot on the weekends.

Hopefully the player base grows because at the moment everyones spread out doing different activities, you might have to a wait a little bit for people to que up for what you like. Golf always has people for example, but there are times when no Virus matches are going.

They just gave virus and huge upgrade and the gunplay was completely rewritten. Still have trouble getting games during slower times but the gamemode a whole lot better.

You can say Tower's shit but don't pretend Playstation home wasn't full of microtransactions. The minigames were so buggy and shitty they make Tower's alpha gamemodes look like standalone AAA titles.

Besides Planet Panic atm, that shit is pretty much exactly the same as your average Playstation Home minigame.
