But you clearly don't know what you're talking about and made no valid arguments.
What makes Deus Ex special isn't the RPG elements or the shooting, it's the emergent gameplay, the ways you can be creative and use the laid out systems in ways the devs might not even intended to - that's what makes it arguably one of the greatest games ever made. Thief, System Shock and Ultima are great games in their own ways but are simply below Deus Ex when it comes to that.
