how are those 2 questions remotely related?
Most conferences don't even allow the public to attend them.

getting in line for 2 hours for a 15 minute demo is a pretty bad deal
also, E3 is more corporations than consumers
>>379276825
False.

>It's not something I never wanted to do
>>379277589
E3 isn't some big party and not as fun as you think it is.
Because most gamers are annoying twats

>>379276627
Transportation, lodging, and the tickets are all expensive
>>379277645
why are you saying this to me
>>379277475
prove it.
>>379276627
I'd have picked that it's not something I'd ever wanted to do too. I don't feel any particular bond with other gamers purely because of the fact that they're gamers and seeing the game releases secondhand at home in my underwear is much better than traveling halfway across the country to see the same content in person.

Because people who play video games love to talk shit and never follow up.
That's why we see tons of women hate, gay hate, trans hate, and minority hate here. It's not /pol/, it's just a bunch of faggots that feel uncomfortable about something but would never ever act on that outside of the internet.
because shitposting on /v/ about new games and reveals is much more fun than waiting for hour in a queue to play 15 minute demo while some numale next to you is shouting facebook memes

I went to a pretty big one this year just to mark it off the list. Shit was awful first off there were fuck all games on show PlayStation was all dedicated to horizon,
Xbox had well I can't remember what there was, no Nintendo except people selling merchandise. most of the space was allocated to 'esports' MOBAs. Secondly at 28 I was literally twice the age of anyone there that didn't need adult supervision. So I walked around for like an hour maybe less and less and left but at least I know what they are like now
>>379278510
I don't understand why people tolerate trans shit
>>379277645
You're missing the point. It's not just E3
If I could go to the (earlier days) GDC, I would be in fucking heaven just to learn how they process their processes.
E3 is an interesting experience to view not just the AAA fucking games either, there's a bunch of little shots that get looked over.
I take it you've never been to a flea market?
It´s really not that fun.
Gamescom last year was horrible.
Most of the booths just had trailers.
You had to wait 6 hours for FFXV so you could play it for 30 minutes. Food is overpriced and booths stopped giving out free stuff like shirts or game codes to people.

I don't understand why it makes people so angry.
Game conferences aren't for customers. They're for investors. They're not the place to announce or show off new games, they're for engines and platforms and business related stuff like networking that the average consumer isn't going to give a toss about.
>>379278752
because it doesn't affect them
>>379279016
>>379279127
you must not watch a whole lot of television/streaming/anything with actual people
>>379279287
What does that have to do with anything?
I have absolutely no interest in gaming conferences or whatever because I'm not a "gamer" I'm just someone who plays video games, that's not a culture and that's not an identity. Now if you disagree with me you're free to eat a fucking bullet because that means you're a cultureless pleb lowlife shithead.
>>379276627
This is a horrible poll. It assumes going to a big or small conference is mutually exclusive, and neglects to differentiate between a single visit and a recurring thing
>>379279347
Its shoved down your throat constantly.
There's even a new high-budget show out called "Not Just a T" or something
Its disgusting.
>>379279364
>that means you're a cultureless pleb lowlife shithead.
Says the /v/ poster.
>>379279364
Wut the fuck is this post
>>379276627
Because it's fucking useless. Back in the day all you could do was watch trailers you could literally see 1-2 weeks later on the inet anyway. Nowadays you get to play a demp for a game that comes out like a month later, big fucking deal.
It's simply not worth the money and travel/waiting time unless you really like conventions.
>>379279512
There's a lot of high budget shows about things I don't care about and I don't get angry about them. I've never had any trans things shoved down my throat except on 4chan, either.

My first post on this site

NO
Why are you not ANGRY at other people for living in a way I DISAPPROVE of?
