They all tried smash 4 and hated it because it was a stiff shitty game void of any player expression, so there was nothing new to see past the first month a character was played.

Smash 4 is fun to an extent, but with the items, stages, and physics the game is designed to add uncertainty and randomness so that even if there is a huge skill gap you both get eachother to 140% and the final hit comes down to a guessing game where whoever whiffs first loses. This is seen from low all the way up to high level play.

I've seen someone compare it to MVC where the MVC2 players eventually reluctantly moved to MVC3, but people hated that already and didn't warm up to it until UMVC3 where they addressed a BUNCH of huge problems. Where smash is concerned, it'd be more like if we went from MVC2 to MVC; I
