I don't get mad at vidya like most people here, but I do autistically study any game that has any decent amount of choice regarding weapons and armor before, and during my playtime. Stuff like Dark Souls and STALKER and Far Cry 2 and stuff. I even set myself up in a good position somewhere in the game where I have everything I want, but still have missions left to do, so I can launch the game whenever and just have some fun, but I almost never open those games again to do that.

It's pretty revolting really.

I smashed several controllers playing Dark Souls 1 years ago. In fact I smashed one on my forehead and it left a scar. So whenever someone asks about it, I get to try and convince them what a great fucking game Dark Souls is.

A few years ago when I still played league I went full rage mode on a guy playing fiddle sticks because he auto attacked baron in the middle of a level 6 team fight. It was bad, I harassed him for the entire rest of the game. After the game one of our other team mates added me, I accepted and he told me that player was his terminally ill son, that one of the only things they can do together anymore is play pc games, that he's not very good because he's lot a lot of his motor skills. I called him a fucking liar and he linked me to some photos in which he time stamped my user name. Then I just went off on him again and said to get the fuck out of the ranked queue if the kid is losing his motor functionality. Still feel bad about it. League turns you into a soulless waste of breath.

I love games with character creation. Soul Caliber 3 is one of my favourite games of all time games because I could get autistic making all sorts of anime OCs. I probably put hundreds of hours in that game, so I could run my OCs through arcade mode a hundred times.

I fucking love the Dragonball Xenoverse despite their apparent flaws because they give me so much goddamn wish fulfillment and let me play out my 13 year old self's autistic fanfiction. I have over 130 hours on both games and have barely touched multiplayer. Playing through the bland story mode multiple times.

I was unhappy with the direction of the Elder Scrolls series, and there were always threads here about what you'd like to see in the next one. I had lots of idea on how to improve it and the more I thought about it, the more ideas I had. Eventually I started writing them down to organize my thoughts and over time it turned into an entire game design, in some cases going as deep as diagrams, formulas, and calculations. I've worked on it on and off for 4 years and it's currently over 200 pages long.
