At least the Sony managed to salvage the PS3 from its disastrous launch and it managed to become a pretty good platform.

It's a shame that everyone was on the retarded "micro$oft" hatewagon when the original Xbox was released because it has some really fun and good exclusives that a lot of people never got to appreciate.

Xbox 360 did 'well' almost exclusively off of people buying it to play multiplats on because it was so much cheaper than the PS3.

I like the Xbox, 360, and mostly the Xbox one. Fun multiplayer online and off, lots of good multiplats and hilarious first party fun.

I actually don't know why anyone hates different styles like anime as much as another western extreme style like giant dude bro gears games. Both are hella fun. Most people I know loved the LAN and multiplayer parts of Xbox games. I had teachers that'd start talking to kids about kotor and their popular games at the time.

I think the original Xbox has aged a lot better then the ps2 and maybe the GameCube in some ways. No retarded expensive component cables, lots of great versions of games that gen, plus some amazing obvious titles.

Games like halo and metroid that are influenced from alien movies are great. I don't know where the negative image comes from. I can imagine some beta nerd hating an in your face popular social game but I don't know where the logic is in that.

I have almost a hundred original Xbox games, there's plenty to get and they are cheap as hell for the most part.

Remember the PlayStation eye? Shit was exactly the same as Kinect. Because Microsoft apparently went out and decided to make every shitty decision they could which allowed Sony to easily secure a massive market share.
Nintendo had their own fuck-ups with the Wii U but it was nowhere near as bad as the Xbone reveal.

I will admit that Don Mattrick had some excellent words of wisdom which I followed fully and stuck with my Xbox 360 instead of buying an Xbone.
