There will be a dungeon in the final chapter before the final dungeon just get everyone not in your A-Team to 125-130ish it takes very little time, get your A-team to 135ish. Your final party will more than likely end up being Kevin/Ries/Renne/Richardits more or less then best party in the game.

Ys Vs Sora no Kiseki might or might not be canon (A vague line in Zero kind of hints it might be) and that one has a mayor character from the Gagharv games play an important role so you might as well play those. Also, there's that painting in the 3rd and multiple Gagharv concepts being reused, so it wouldn't hurt to play them to be safe. It also introduces Lloyd

Ring of Judgement is a short manga that bridges Estelle and Joshua to Crossbell and (formally) introduces Toval, a character that was first hinted at in an in-game novel and later plays a secondary role in Cold Steel, so might as well read it. There is also Loewe monogatari, I forgot to include that one, read it after playing or maybe even Cold Steel II. You can read it as early as after finishing SC, but you'll get more out of it if you wait a bit and read it when I tell you.

I think the rest is pretty clear and shouldn't be that confusing. The Gagharv games technically aren't in chronological order, but for "Reasons" is best you play them in release order.
