Yusuke is usually there because I liked to use his physical attacks and for some reason his Mind Slice usually confuses enemies.
Ryuji same shit. Ann is useful in a lot of places.

I think what I like about her is how generally comfy she feels as if you both stand on equal terms with each other. She's not outwardly romantic, so your interactions with her feel less lovey-dovey and more functional in how well you work together with her. It makes the romance scenes all the more enticing when you can tell that she's acting outside of her own comfort zone (the whole "study partner" thing).

I think people are quick to downplay her Confidant story, forgetting how it's not so much about her friend and more about how it shows Makoto's strong sense of justice even on a street-level. I'll admit that it helps that I can actually relate to her the most out of the entire cast, so I felt pretty involved in helping her out. The entire thing was basically you and Makoto going under cover and confronting a shady business while saving her newfound friend from possible trouble. It very much ties to the Phantom Thieves and her family background, and you can only imagine how that might lead to more "misadventures" of her and Joker acting out against criminals as a sort of power couple.

Two things I wanna point out:
1) Bummed how I got spoiled for both P4/P5 "traitor" which is the climactic twist. However...

2) Could they have made the traitor more obvious? It would have been really cool if they made the group tensions flare up once Morgana left, and threw a believable traitor angle (that has been gradually built up throughout the story) for every member. Kawakami has an amazing concept but she's too much of a slob? Her maid outfit is cute but her plainclothes make her look like a hobo. Her eng dub isn't that good either.

Haru is really cute, and I think she'd be higher. I like the ditzy slightly off-key ojou-sama type. But her eng dub is the worst out of the main characters which turns me off of her.

Tier lists don't really work that well since the characters have different roles, but Makoto is objectively the best as the healer anyway (her ultimate weapon gives her way better stats than anyone else in the party), people say Morgana is better since he has salvation but Morgana also has no health which means if any party member would die, it would be Morgana, revival spells aren't useful then.
