It's a terrific game, honestly. But the controls are very hard to get accustomed to (especially if your n64 stick is worn out, which it more than likely is). But they do work with the mechanics and level design.

Multiplayer is pretty dated, but the game types are fun, like golden gun and proximity mines only. At least for a few games with friends while you all chuckle at the single-digit framerate death animations.

PSX got vastly better the fewer friends you had over. It put up a fight for 2 player games, but once you have more people nobody turned on the FF7 station.

Goldeneye in a vacuum was entirely mediocre. But with 4 people it shat all over anything the PSX had. Sony wasn't even trying.

The N64 had some good games, yes, but they were short or weird or janky feeling. I had a paradigm shift when I played this bad boy, and wanted more games like it. I was tired of Smash Bros, Goldeneye and Mario Party

When I finally got a PS1 with Resident Evil Nemesis and Dino Crisis, I was in hog heaven.

Goldeneye and Casino Royale were made by the same dude and were the undisputed best bond movies, every Craig movie after that one objectively sucked which is a shame.

My favorite James Bond. He had charisma and charm.
