Can we talk about how based of a company Noctua is?
>No fans with unnecessary RGB bullshit
>6 year warranty
>Focused more on performance than looks
>No GaymurGear Fans
>Unrivaled airflow
>Spent 4(four) years developing their newest fan
>Free mounting upgrades to owners of NH-L9a and NH-L9i CPU coolers to transistion to AM4 sockets
>Tailor-made options for heat sinks and fans geared towards industrial clients
>All fans ship with anti vibration pads
I know they get tons of hate for their aesthetics and color scheme, but I don't mind them. The performance is so good I don't care about the looks.
What do you guys think about Noctua?
>proved fail-proof heat sink design
>their fans aren't even the best
>based

I have Noctua CPU cooler.
I know that you are probably trying to shit on them but their products are actually pretty good.

Holy shit I've never seen such blatant shilling as this
My PC has 4 fans, 2 with blue LED lights and 1 with red LED lights
Which color do chicks dig more?
I got a cryorig for my most recent computer. It works fine and it doesn't look like ass. Got corsair fans no RGB either, feels good.

>proved fail-proof heat sink design
Nigga what?
>>379206835
>>379206843
Fucking hivemind faggots. Liking and wanting to talk about something doesn't equate to shilling. I get a boner for quality HW, that's all.
>>379207158
The heatsink design is practically impossible to fuck up.
Early adopter for the NH-D14 a long ass time ago.
Processors have come and gone and It's still working perfectly. Both fans are still dead silent.
>>379206649
Would it hurt Noctua to use a different color for its fans rather than poo?
>>379206649
>still using poo color
why
>>379207503
At this point it's their signature. Plus they save money on parts by using that particular kind of plastic. Those savings are passed on to you, the loyal customer.
>>379206649
I wish their fans weren't brown and beige. Not that I look at them any way. I just hate the colours
>>379207605
>they save money on parts by using that particular kind of plastic
They are £20 a go they are in no way cheap
>>379207605
$0.05 have been deposited on your account, Mr. Punjab.
>>379207693
You're right. They're not cheap. That's why they last so long. They're not made to fall apart after a certain amount of time.
>>379207725
Oh goodie goodie gumdrops.
Stop falling for the marketing.
>>379207365
This
>>379207503
Their fans are immediately recognizable. That's why I think they keep that color scheme. Plus, enthusiast care more about function over form.
>>379207614
Their performance more than makes up for it.
>>379207605
They actually are using a new plastic for their new line of fans. Should make the blades much stiffer and decrease vibrations and dB.
>>379207693
>Buying cheap fans that crap out after 2 years
Mine have ran for 7 years without a single hiccup. I expect to be using the same fans through my current build and the next.
>>379206649
*Holds up spork*

you are talking about a fan and not a cpu cooler
who fucking cares?
>>379207834
>nf-f12
nice graph you chucklehead
>>379207605
I've got 2 NF F12s, that I've had for 2 years and their still kicking ass. Also got the LTT editions so I don't even have to suffer the shitty brown and beige.
>>379207892
you cunt
Never in my life have I ever felt I needed a "premium" fan. I always just buy some cheap shit off ebay.
Sure I guess you could argue that spending 9000 hours in an austrian windtunnel tweaking the fanblades might get you a little bit more airflow, but the thing with fans is that you can easily achieve more airflow by applying more speed.
I never got the "quiet" meme either, since in reality you should be gaming with headphones since a good set of headphones is 1/10th the price of a good speaker setup.
Only Noctua product I purposely set out to buy was that low profile CPU heatsink/fan they have NH L9i or something.
Works really well. My HTPC is super quiet. Would recommend.

op is probably from reddit, they all talk like shills naturally over there. it's bizarre.
Am I the only one with a completely open case and a bladeless fan just blowing the shit out of it silently?
>>379214110
>talk like
>it's bizarre
It's because they are.
>>379206649
This case looks like a toilet after a ceaseless discharge.
notua colors are classic. show some respect
>>379213960
Got the exact same one for a low power home media server. Fucker got loud as hell all of a sudden a few months into owning it.
I understand it's probably a fluke but god damn, I have never heard a fan make so much noise before. Not even the low power adapter helped.
