It's happened to every single person I know who owns a switch. I've even lost connection while playing ARMS while sitting in the same room as my router when I can get a fine connection all over the house on everything else I own

Am I the only one having low audio through the jack with my 16 ohms IEMs?

They work fine in any other device, but not on the Switch. Tried with other earbuds and headphones, same shit. Audio through the Switch speakers is quite loud though.

I fear I'll have to send it back, which sucks since I can't find it anywhere. How come it's still out of stock, Nintendo, get your shit together already

my router used to be under the desk where the switch is and I had 2/3 signal.
I had to awkwardly move the router right behind teh dock to get full signal.
Meanwhile my vita which I usually use in bed still has perfect signal.

That is absolutely insane to me.

As anon said, it looks like Zelda is fairly low. It was indeed a little bit better on Snipperclips, but still pathetically low though. Even the 3DS does better.

That doesn't seem normal to me then. Zelda is low, but Snipperclips sounds fine to me with earbuds and pretty comparable to my N3DS at max volume.

I kind of hate how the Joy-cons feel in handheld mode. It's not too bad but they feel slightly loose (I guess they have to be) and it just makes me wish it was a solid unit. I'll probably get used to it in time but right now it's fucking with my autism.

You can just go do a connection test in the settings. The down and up speeds are the last two things it checks.

I really like the Joy Cons for their flexibility, and think that lounging while holding them separately is really comfy, but holy shit the idea that they work better as a standard controller than the Pro is fucking insane

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that might be due to minute differences in the rails of the joycon. My second set of joycon feel a bit more snug on my Switch than the ones it came with. However, I don't really feel either set as wobbly. Just a very slight movement if I try to push away or towards me on the bottom half of the joycon.

Probably something they'll update later on if they make a different model. In the case of your Switch getting damaged, they probably expect you to get it repaired instead.
There's also the possibility that they want to plug up any way to edit save files.

Nintendo has managed to transfer save files to new devices when sending in a Switch with malfunctions. I've even heard that the new devices then have a cloud icon on the home screen next to the game, so maybe they'll announce a cloud system soon.

I don't know if any of this is true though, including the cloud support claim which has been posted with images of the cloud icon before, but it doesn't sound too outrageous.
