Which gaming mouse does /v/ have? I'm getting into PC gaming after playing only console for 20 years.

I've looked at the Logitech G502 Spectrum and it feels pretty nice. The only games I really play right now are Overwatch

I use the EC2-A, I had a G402 but Logitech mice like the g402/502 are uncomfortable for me
It was pricey and I wish it at least had a scroll wheel like the G502 but it's comfortable

I have long hands. I'm still not sure what caused this as my furious masturbation has been pretty regular, but I got carpal tunnel right after I bought that g502. It's a really nice mouse but I'm weary of it.
>>
The G502 and the G900. Both are very solid mice. The G502 is fairly heavy (I'm pretty sure you can adjust the weight) and I don't necessarily prefer it for shooters. It's more of a comfortable MMO mouse imo. The G900 on the other hand feels very light and comfortable in wireless mode as someone who aims with the wrist rather than full arm movements (in regard to shooters). I've also owned the G302 which is also a very solid mouse as well, and a fraction of the price. I'd say that's a bit for smaller hands if I recall correctly, though.

I bought a g502, but the m4 is so fucking small, i'm too used to my deathadder perfect m4.
>>
>>379142197
If you get CT it's no one's fault but your own
When you move the mouse keep your wrist locked and straight and move your entire forearm
If you use your wrist to move your mouse you'll fuck yourself up 10/10 times after some time
>>
>>379140385
G502 owner here. Damn good mouse, only complaint is that the variable speed is right next to LMB so you will find yourself clicking it from time to time fucking up your sensitivity on accident.
>>
>>379142481
Yeah but that doesn't say anything to the fact I've been playing computer games for 20 years on some 7 different mice and never had a problem until the week after I started using that one.
>>
>>379142643
You've been doing something different and it wasn't with this mouse, you won't develop CT from a week of use
>>
>>379142643
You're getting older and poor habits are catching up with you. Simple as that.

Do what >>379142481 says.
>>
>>379142601
You can set it so that there's only a single DPI saved to the mouse through the Logitech app. That way if you accidentally click the buttons nothing will change.

My G502 went crazy for some reason. The wheel stopped acting as a scroll and instead started behaving as a click, while the clicks themselves started getting weird and random functions such as Ctrl + T or Mute. I tried updating and reinstalling drivers, didn't help. I never got to figure out what happened to it as I was moving at the same time and I was busy. What's funniest, the box where I put the mouse got lost.
>>
I use this one here, I play fingertip style and it's pretty much perfect for me, the fact that the back never touches my palm without having to adjust my wrist is awesome.

People that use full palm usually don't like it though, I've seen a lot of complaints about it being uncomfortable to hold, for me it's the best mouse I've ever used, but if you hold the mouse firmly with your full palm it doesn't give much support.

See how you hold the mouse before deciding on buying something instead of just buying whatever people tell you to buy, this is the most important part I guess.
>>
What's the point of dropping $100+ on a mouse if you don't use the programmable buttons? I've been using standard Microsoft mice for ages and have never had any problems.

You want one of Logitech's PMW3366 mice.
G502 has a lot of features (unlockable scrollwheel, five buttons) but it weighs a lot, something like 107g.

G403 is 87g, lacks the above features. Is a large mouse, good for big hands. Right handed.

G Pro is 83g, lacks the above features. Is a small mouse. Ambidextrous.

Pick from these, or become a victim of Razer/Zowie marketing and get an inferior product. It's up to you.
>>
>>379140385
I use the one in your pic, love it. Been a logitech fanboy ever since I bought a wireless pad for the original Xbox.
>>
I use both the 502 Spectrum and the MX Master. I use the MX for basic web browsing and the like; it sits on top of my desk in a more comfortable position for basic navigation. I have the 502 next to my keyboard in the keyboard tray and use it for gaymen thanks to its great DPI.

I wish the MX had a better sensor... it would literally be perfect. So fucking comfortable
>>
>>379143382

>only plays casual shit

Pottery

Also the G502 is stupidly heavy, just get the 402
>>
Switched from a Steelseries Rival to a Zowie FK2. The weight reduction and size is better for my hand and grip type. Sensor doesn't feel like a downgrade since I don't tilt the mouse when I flick.

That said, the growing pains with this mouse has been rough. The weight difference is so massive that I'm hesitating on how much to move the mouse and find myself under-compensating.
>>
I have a 2013 deathadder and love it, still works fine too. But I kind of want to try something new. What should I go for? Keep in mind the deathadder is the comfiest mouse I've ever used and I've been using them for like 8 years.
>>
>fell for the gaymer mouse meme again
just want a mouse with durable scroll wheel that can handle middlemouse click well.

The G502 is a piece of shit. Not only does it have a fuckton of unnecessary cracks and shitty design that allows gunk to enter your mouse, but there are some major flaws with the button design in it.
>huge-ass mousewheel that doesn't snap properly, is easily pressed to the right or the left instead of down by accident, wobbles left and right if you swipe your mouse
>a retarded thumb button that prevents you from getting a good grip on the mouse, since the button is directly over your thumb
>useless RGB lights that do nothing but raise the price
>the mouse if way too heavy and harder to control, the mouse weight gimmick is absolutely retarded since no one should ever use a heavy mouse over a light one
>looks like a space ship

I have the G Pro but even that kind of sucks ass because of the shape of it. I wish they still made G400's, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.
>>
>>379144453
I own both, the side button on the g502 is aids and the logitech software doesn't recognize the mouse so I can't disable it.

the deathadder is more comfy imo
>>
I've got a Corsair Sabre RGB and its middle mouse button either doesn't respond or does multiple clicks.
Seems the only solution is to pop the top off and fuck around with something called a Tac, but would require me to later solder all back into place.
What should I get to replace this mouse?
It's a bit of a shame, I got it as a present just last year.

>>379145874
Because razer control quality is typically poor.

That being said, there's no any one mouse that's perfect for everyone. Find a mouse that fits your grip style and your hand dimensions. Preferably something also under 100 grams is a good thing to keep in mind.

It's especially bad for fingertip style because of the way the sides are rounded. Palm is like the only way to use that mouse, but it's fucking flat as shit.
>>
>>379140385

t. no argument
Got my G502 a few months ago, my first real "gamer mouse", and it's simply great. Using it without weights it is weighty enough that I never slip around with it but light enough for fast movement.
All the extra buttons are nice though the "sniper button" seems like a gimmick and I never needed to use it. Most games that would need such a thing already make scopes move slower by default.
>>
>>379142601
I changed that function pushing the scroll wheel left/right. Those buttons on the left side now change the volume.
>>
gaming mouse > gaming keyboard

keyboards does nothing to enhance your gameplay
>>
>>379145874
My chroma middle button stopped working after 2 months
>>
>>379146980
My mechanical keyboard helps by not being a mushy inconsistent piece of shit.
>>
Ever since my based G9X died I've been using cheap ass $4 mice replacing them after they die until I saw this for cheap recently and bought it. If I could go back in time I would have bought a few G9X's and used them for decades because for some reason they have doubled in price now.
>>
>>379140385
>>379141945
Do people actually use meme shit like this? These are probably the same people who have overpriced rainbow keyboards that look like alien artifacts.

PC gaming has really gone downhill since going mainstream with the "gamer xD" movement. Every mouse and keyboard you look for is titled "GAMER" with flashy lights and useless features instead of focusing on performance and ergonomics.
>>
>>379146227
>>worse sensor
nigger the PMW3366 is the best sensor in existence.
>>
>>379147113

This is the official /v/ mouse tier list.
>>
>>379146734
Actually that mouse is really only suited for fingertip and claw grip, and similar hybrids.

If you want palm grip, you need a different mouse, like the 403.
>>
>>379147354
>Rival overtop of the Zowie mice
A better sensor is the ONLY thing going for it, and the Zowie mice don't even have a bad sensor.
>>
>>379147354
nice try logitech shill
>>
>>379147354
The deathadder elite has a better sensor than any of those mice in the God tier, it also has God tier ergonomics. The only bad thing is it's lack of extra buttons
>>
>>379147475
>The deathadder elite has a better sensor than any of those mice in the God tier

It empirically does not.
>>
>>379147636
It factually and literally does
>>
>>379147354

>>
>>379146980
try having a keyboard that doesn't let you press more than 2 keys at once.
>>
>>379147789
It has a PMW3366 sensor, so it's the same as the 303 or G Pro, just a different shape.

If you like palm grip it's what I would recommend.
>>
I have the Logitech G502 Spectrum it's great, I don't like wired but they're more responsive so yeah
>>
Roccat Kone Pure.

Don't buy one. I've had a double-click issue since a month after using it. And the stupid light in the mouse can't do orange.
