Not necessarily the best game you've ever played, but one that really left a lasting impression.
Mine? Tales of Symphonia for Gamecube. Not the very best game I ever played, but I laughed, I cried, I got goosebumps. It had a great story and great artwork. Some of the lines were a little cheezy but I loved the message I got from the story line. Just a great game (and long!)

For me it's the emotion it fills you with when you finally, after hours of struggle, beat a section of the game you couldn't beat before. There's just nothing like it, and you know it's strictly because you've got better.

I got my fiancee to play these games for the first time last year after constantly hounding her about them. She fell madly in love with them and has so many ME collectibles now. Such an amazing game.
