That foreboding song, all those returning characters... It really felt like the story of Geralt was going to end, but not necessarily in a good way. Very moody trailer, and I never removed that song from my daily playlist.

I loved Dark Souls so much, and this trailer hyped me up for an epic journey across the world. And that song... God damn, son. It really made me feel like there's a lot at stake here.

The Sony fanboy butthurt was MASSIVE but I really loved this trailer, music especially. The whole thing had a sort of whimsical adventurous tone to it. Too bad most of the scenes in the trailer were either, removed, tweaked, or made pretty much irrelevant to the main plot. All those scenes of the classic summons were part of ONE pointless festival cinematic.

Yeah, like you said, FF13 really managed to pull the whimsical adventure theme. It such a feel-good game, even when shit goes down.
