Got around 1100 hours in Skyrim from fucking around with mods alone, but I accumulated those over 6 years.

I've been alive for approximately 227660 hours. Now around 75886 of them was spent sleeping, and about 35100 of them was spent at work or school. That leaves me with 116674 hours of free time since I was born. If I spent 1000 hours playing one game, that'd be around 0.8% of my total free time. Plenty of time left for family, friends and other hobbies.

OP, to answer your question, it's just that I have nothing else better to do so I just keep playing. I set new goals (speed runs, only using one gun, etc) if I'm still interested in a game but have plowed through most of the content.

I don't know what else to do with myself. I am open to suggestions.

I'm sure I've put in 1000 hours in Halo 3, but that games about to be 10 years old. There's 4 of us that speed run co-op together.

But I've hit over 500 hours in Overwatch now. It's just a blast to have a sense of progression and seeing my skill and rank go up.

If you play just one game every single day, it adds up quick and doesn't get boring.
