Bare minimum of 10 years. It's 2017, and PS3 emulation is really only just starting. To be playable it'd be another 5. Hardware is also lagging behind. You need super computer CPUs to do this shit right. Though Vulkan really helps.

So what's the issue if you have a ps4? It's better for everyone to enjoy games.

If you don't have a ps4, it's just 2 games, hardly something you ought to buy a whole console for or feel bummed about.
If you do end up buying a console, then it's a decision you make for yourself and you got to live with it. If you don't want to shell out the logical form of action would be to borrow one from a friend.
