Why would you want a Superman game without PROPER environmental destruction physics AND the ability to fly anywhere on the planet in seconds? I'd rather play a fully powered Superman, not a heavily castrated one.

Unless Supes fights other super-strong types then the combat system is very unnecessary, it would be like punching a giant stone for the baddies and Supes could beat them all by merely blowing on them.

Vidya tech just isn't ready for Superman, we have the destruction tech (Red faction) but we don't have the non-lazy devs.

Sounds like your best option is h-hour then. They just switched engines to UE4. Rumor is they're finally working on the PS4 port so there might be a demo or something on the E3 floor, could be worth checking out.

I just think they don't want to touch the IP because the original studios that worked on it's games are totally beyond repair, and more than 80% of the original staffers are gone, a port would have no input from the original creators and there's no guarantee the resources to port it over are still even in existence. That was a big deal with unit 13. They originally wanted to port that shit to the PS4 along with escape plan.
