>hardest mission in all of Red Alert
>Head Games
>You can remove their mind control if you kill their psychic tower!11
>"Wow nice I'll have an allied base!!!"
>build base
>get pampered by endless attacks
>somehow survive all those and build a nuclear missile
>enemy gets nuclear missile, weather control and psychic dominator
my 8 year old self cried over this.
Was this the moscow one where you had a never ending wave of enemy units coming at you?
>>379046152
You mean yourself 10 minutes ago?
>>379046282
No this is the one where you can control a soviet and allied base, that was RA2's final Allied mission, fuck I forgot that, I also cried on that one.
>>379046336
I figured out you could just park those 2 starting Kirov's over the enemy flood and attack ground. They never brought enough AA.
I don't remember this one that well. Would have to see the map again.
>>379046428
In this mission? Or where?
>>379046998
The one with the starting Kirov's vs the Kremlin is the only one I remember.
I replayed the game a bit a few years ago but it was only for a few skirmishes.
>>379047123
You don't have starting kirovs in chrono storm afaik though.
>>379046152
The one with black apocalypse was far harder than this one.
>>379046152
Wait what? if i'm not wrong, you have a soviet base at first and then had to free the allied base from psychic right? This mission was okayish, but not that hard. All i had to do was build up an army to hold the base, while periodically using nukes and weather control to nuke the enemy base. Take out their contruction yard then their defenses. After that, just use the army ive built up to go and swarm over the base.
>>379049369
>>379046152
same fag
The hardest mission was in the original, when you are the allies protecting a bridge or something. Fucking engineers keep coming and selling my base
i dont remember any mission in ra2 or yuris revenge being hard
You could destroy their power plant to put a hold on those super weapons right?
>>379046152
>play final Allied mission of Yuri's Revenge
>build Soviet radar
>allied MCV with tanks appears on mainland
>destroy MCV with friendly fire
>another MCV with tanks appears
>repeat multiple times
>have nearly infinite tanks to steamroll Yuri's everything
gg ez
>>379049436
Mission name?
>>379049436
>A guy in a yellow hard hat walks in
>Alright, break out the paint buckets, we got work to do!
>Get out of here, I'm in charge!
>NOT ANYMORE YOU'RE NOT
>>379049521
The AI has always been pretty bad, so every mission basically has a gimmick for getting it done really easy. Like the Moscow mission. Just have some basic defenses that can hold out long enough for you to make a small squad of Chrono Legionnaires. Sneak their way into the Kremlin, and simultaneously erase all of the Kremlin Black Guard so they can't even fight back. Mission accomplished.

>Allied campaign
>build handful of mirage tanks for defense
>build dozens of prism tanks for attack
>choose all prism tanks
>hold CTRL+Shift
>click on other corner of map
>win the mission
>>379050296
>Mirage Tanks for defence
>Not GI deathmachines
ISHYGDDT
>>379050296
>Allied campaign
>Build 1 Chronosphere
>Build 9 hover transports
>Build 27 prism tanks
>Pack 27 tanks in 9 transports
>Chrono 9 transports into enemy base
>Deploy
>Get blinded by a maelstrom of pure light removing commies
Red Alert 2 is child's play compared to Mental Omega.
>>379046152
here's a strategy that is always working for sp campaign :
>12 harriers
>destroy command center
>barracks
>war factory
>win

Long time ago, forgot name already, but i do remember that you can play the mission as the soviets on the same map, but much earlier
The hardest mission is getting premier Romanov to the airport which is guarded by four psychic towers, chain gun turrets and a game over countdown timer.
>>379056664
Git gud.
>>379056717
Its hard but not impossible. You just need to use the iron curtain and some demo trucks. But it is way more challenging than the OP's mission.
Its not as hard as Kane's Tower or Zero Hour China 2 for sure.
>>379046152
>Only struggled during soviet Moon Mission
>Having a real hard time defending while I build a fuckton of apocalypse tanks.
>My fucking base gets wrecked
>I send in the tank army
>enemy has a huge army as well
>I lose many tanks, some of them get 3 stars but still die because the enemy is constantly spamming
>I have no base, just that army.
>When the battle ends, I only have ONE fucking apocalypse tank against the enemy base.
>MFW I win thanks to that based motherfucker.
>>379057127
3 Star Apocalypse Tanks are fucking monsters. I used them regularly to take out entire bases when playing vs. CPU.
Honorable mention goes out to 3 Star Kirovs too.
>>379050087
Most of the campaign missions are constructed so that using the newest unit makes winning the map easy, while using anything else makes it hard. Chrono Legionnaires for the last Allied mission, Kirovs for the last Soviet mission, Chornoshere+prism tanks for the second last Allied map etc.
>>379058886
Or 3 stars GI a good group of these hidden on some pathway could seriously fuck shit up.
I also had a lot of fun with Chrono Legionnaire.
>build 1 as fast as I can
>Teleport near enemy base
>Teleport inside enemy base trying to stay hidden, behind a building or a wall.
>Destroy base
>They don't even notice. My friends were casualsand I loved it.
>>379046152
one of the easiest missions...
>>379046152
personally i found the dino level to be the hardest... until i found out that you just have to wait it out, you can literally go to a corner of the map and wait for it to end.
>>379059997
Or you could send a transport amphiship to the opposite end of the map and find a friendly T-Rex who will fight for you.
>>379046152
this was easy, I never built super weapons, he will never make one too
