yeah, lows generally don't do all that much besides glancing damage or are reactable. its why you should avoid crouch blocking by default, which is a super hard habit for me to break as primarily a street fighter player

Try and find a mid you can reliably connect. It doesn't need to do too much damage, just enough to discourage them from crouching

mids are basically this games overheads

and you might want to side step to dodge attacks more than backdash sometimes because it can leave them wide open for a combo depending what button they use. avoid sidestepping if they like using tracking buttons

Im pretty new to tekken too but bryan does have a couple of options. His B1 can catch people ducking well and is safe on block anyway. his DF3 can catch people throwing out random lows and can lead to a decent combo, i think its one of the sample combos i his comand list so try that and go from there

Bryan destroys people who depend on low pokes. If your opponent is just throwing out random loves you have multiple options. At a safe distance you can throw out a back 1 or an u4. u4 is safe on wiff. Orbital heel is ridiculously good. Use it. Up close you use his df2 mid to check opponents who constantly low crush. It has great frames, so if they try to repetitively try to mash, this will keep catching them. df2,1 is the full string. It is also his 15 frame punish, I believe.
