this game had a really weak launch but how is it now? i was thinking of getting it because its on sale on the ps store.
it's alright.
it's pretty featureless and often boring and repetitive but it's alright.
It's 20 dollars. Go for it. Just be prepared for sheer frustration and disappointment though.

As a die-hard SF fag, I'm tell you, you're better off buying Tekken 7.

lobbies still don't work lmao
So many normal features are just flat out fucking broken. If you are absolutely fine with the gameplay and need nothing else working then yeah it will be fine for you OP

It got better but it's still barebone and disappointing unless you want to be part of the competitive scene. Speaking of features, the longass and absolutely boring story mode added months after launch was a mistake. Most of us just wanted a classic arcade mode (not the disguised tutorial released at launch that can be beat mashing a button) with endings.
lobby?

This. SFV isn't even an SF game. It's closer to an NRS game with 5 or longer frame links instead of strings.
Id say save your money.
It really is a boring game. I only kinda enjoy it when VS friends but usually we'll just play something else. (CvS2, third strike, USF4,)
Me and my friends play SFV, but we're starting to enjoy it less. Would Tekken 7 be a good game to jump ship to?

Personally I haven't had frequent problems with the online infrastructure. As for features the game is still very barebones. If you want a simple fg that isn't a huge time sink, go for it. Just a heads up though, sfv is streamlined to a fault. Characters are designed in a way where there isn't a lot of room for improvisation.

do you like marvel 3 and X-Factor comebacks?
because that's basically what all the top tiers do in this game
