I want Bloodstained to be good, but mechanically and graphically, it's already surpassed by many metroid-vanias. Even Pharoh's rebirth feels smoother to play.
I hope that chick gets some Paizuri porn

You and me both anon
I wonder if they have another E3 build like last year
>>379004460
Pharoh's rebirth? What's that?
>>379005940
A good game that gets ignored for meme garbage games like in the OP pic
>>379006140
>Pharaoh's rebirth is a better metroidvania than Bloodstained
>Rosenkreustilette is a better Mega Man than Mighty Number 9
>both made for tiny budgets by tiny or even one man teams
>get ignored
What does this mean?
>>379005940
Furry porn game
>>379004460
I want A Hat in Time to be good moreso than Bloodstained. Pretty much my last chance for kickstarter games until I start ignoring them completely.
>>379006186
No, that's Anubis' bone. It's an MSX style Tansaku instead of the Castlevania style also.
>>379006184
It means marketing is more important than the final product because idiots will buy anything.
>>379006184
It means that money doesn't equal quality and most of the time if artists are given overbudget, they'll have way more money they'd know what to do with it and either allocate the budget very poorly, bloat the game with unnecessary things that actually make it worse and/or pocket most of it.

>>379006718
It means that small dedicated talented teams can produce good 2D games if they make something simple instead of bloated budget games trying to be on 90 consoles and make a movie/tvshow/anime/manga/, etc
Passion projects basically.
>>379008346
To be fair, Bloodstained and Yooka-Laylee didn't go the whole anime/cartoon/"media empire" route MN9 did.
>>379008609
Still had bloated budgets, "free" engines, and shitty devs like Inti-creates.
Nostalgia bait and switch.
>>379008841
No argument about the bloated budget, though Yooka-Laylee's weren't as bad as Inti, were they? But the one thing that actually makes me confident about Bloodstained is that IGA actually hired outside people to come in and help Inti. At least it seems like he recognized Inti's weaknesses, which Inafune never did for MN9.
>>379009017
Iga has like 2x the budget, so he probably had the freedom to do shit like that. He got publisher money which I don't think MN9 got.
