Remember when gaming was actually a fun, semi-underground hobby filled with magic and soul, and not filled with female attention whores, white knights, SJWs, literal homosexuals and degenerate streamers?
Gaming becoming mainstream was the worst thing that ever happened to the industry. It feels like every game that comes out today has to features faggots and a female protagonist. Ironically, games which featured strong female leads (such as Metroid or Perfect Dark) actually made women in games seem far cooler because it wasn't forced, now it actually makes women seem worse, as if they have to compete with men. Gaming has always been a male-dominated hobby, and thus games were suited to traditional male tastes, e.g. strong male protagonist, damsels in distress, focus on combat, exploration and quality gameplay mechanics rather than realistic graphics, cringey stories and "cinematic experiences".
Unfortunately, SJWs will call you a bigoted, sexist asshole for saying these things. And you know what? I'm okay with that. I wouldn't want to be deemed acceptable by the cancer that is killing my favorite hobby.
