Just stop. I've gotten every ending varient for Heavy Rain because I bothered to get all the trophies, Shelby is always the killer who kidnaps and drowns kids, and tries to kill the other characters who get close to discovering his secret. The big complaint about the game was that for being an interactive murder mystery, the killer was always the same, while the branching narrative structure and player choices could have allowed a different character to be the villian for each replay. If you wanted to actually argue a point, you could have said Shelby wasn't evil because he was killing kids for a good reason or something..
