The waifus are excellent though and the jokes are alright, the localization is not too bad and memes don't get too annoying once you understand the characters.

Not entirely. The rebirth series have a lot of things that are unique to them. There's a lot more grinding required in those to unlock stuff. For instance, in V you unlock EXE drives just by leveling up. But in Rebirth 3, you have to unlock them by using your skills x amount of times. Rebirth 3 also has less dubbing than the original V release. Some special scenes like Iris Heart scarring Iffy aren't voiced when they originally were.

Neptune herself doesn't exactly get along with most of the cast due to her hyperactive memester personality, but the first girl she happens to meet is the friendliest and chillest girl in all Gamindustri - her support is probably the reason why everyone perceives Nep-Nep as a cute lovely memester instead of an obnoxious attention whore.

Likewise - I think if /v/ were to meet Compa she would befriend them and make them appear likeable in front of others - thus making more friends - as long they aren't "bad people" since that's the only thing that pisses her off

There again, most people don't notice but Compa happens to be the typical anime MC stereotype, but cutesy and girly

The card shenaigans was the biggest bullshit in any of the Neptunia games. I'm including Stella's Dungeon without the DLC. It was literally just keep save scumming until you get a new card. The chocolates all happened pretty quick, but the cards took several hours.

I played the first HDN after I bought it during the Winter Steam Sale for $6-7. Reason I got it is because I wanted an array of games from various platforms and wanted to diversify my lineup of games I going to play for the following 6 months. Only the rebirth games are the same game 3 times. Rebirth are remakes of 1-3 with the 3's system. So you're essentially buying an altered 3 three different times.

The original series has changed quite a bit between each game. There's large improvements each game. VII is the first Neptunia game on steam that is part of the actual series and not just a rebirth remake.
