Honestly my favorite in game 2D Sonic sprite is his Advance sprite, which is Modern Sonic.

This may be a rare attitude for a Sonic fan, but I think most of the eras have merit for the franchise in both a positive and negative way, and people get at each others throat too much.

First off, that's not being specific at all, moron. Second, there's a difference between accucentating something and overexaggerating to to the point of looking like shit. Modern Sonic makes all of Sonic's limbs and hands look massive and lanky to the point where it crosses right from cartoony into awkward looking territory.
