Mystic knight is a lot like the fighter, but you have access to powerful buffs for your shield and weapons. You also get a sweet ass shockwave and a magic cannon, which if used with proper spamming you can melt enemies left and right (even more effective if your pawn learns to do the same)

Remake is where you make the something again from the ground up, hence the name "remake", it has been made again instead of just improving and existing product. (the new Crash Bandicoot trilogy is a remake for example as is Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes on Gamecube), people often misuse terms left and right these days but publishers are one of the worst offenders actually.

I normally prefer console for the PS4 controller and 60" TV. I mostly use PC for strategy games but I also played the original Dark Souls on it with a 360 controller and could do the same with this, I'm sure. If you go Sorcerer, make a mage pawn and you will basically steam roll the fuck out of the game. The more mage pawns you have the faster you will cast.

Magick Archer and Assassin is all about style points and jumping around the battlefield.

Warrior if you just want to play Monster Hunter.

If they were to announce DD2, I doubt they would announce Dark Arisen port right now. If they were up to it, they would go Marvel vs Capcom way, announcing port the same time as new game. Especially since the game would most likely have to be released before 31st Match 2018 and DA port is Autumn. Not enough time. this game feels like it was designed with strider and it's upgraded/hybrid classes in mind, they're the ones that get the most from grappling, they get almost all the cool mobility perks and weird gimmicks, they get the most stamina per level (which is the stat that determines your ability to do anything, including running through the big ass open world) and they have the most variety/potential abilities they can equip at any given time

mage and sorcerer can be pretty fun too if you want to play a more pawn focused game or just think the idea of charging up a spell that instantly deletes fights is cool. likewise warrior except instead their big charge move is better against single targets

the upgraded mage class gets a bunch of awesome looking massive AOE spells that do insane damage balanced by a hilariously long casting time and rather small distance, which means you need to

Apart from some shitty issues it's a decent game, and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't already have one of the older versions. But unless they add a bunch of new content (which they won't), I don't see any reason to buy it again if you already have it. Which is probably the case for most people who would be interested in the game.

My main gripes with DD will always be that the world is empty as shit, 99% of quests are garbage and you are an invincible god on normal with lvl 10 and hard mode turns into ez mode at lvl 40-50.

I played DA back when it came out for PS3 in 2013 or whenever that was. I made it to where you fight that chimera in a big colliseum type place which was a main story quest. How far through the game was I?
