Enforcing meta, terrible balancing like reworking reworked already champions, no fun allowed. In my first 6 Games with new Malz i've had some hard matchups like Lux and Orianna and some semi-hard with Brand, Ahri and Viktor. They all could easily kill my Voidlings with their AoE Skills. I think the early is a little weak, had some Problems with the last hits, but when you get Lost Chapter its no Problem anymore. The mana sustain is pretty nice, you could literally stay on Lane forever. I also E Q the caster minions and than summon 3 voidlings (which are very nice Tower shredders too). E'ing the caster minion also prevents that Situation if you E a meele one and this little bastard runs out of the swap range.
Later in mid to late game new Malz just feels insane. Finally 100-0 bursting a enemy away is back on my Voidprophet. I could really carry all the six games, we've lost 2 cause of fed sidelanes but in every Game ive had most damage of my Team or even most in match. The damage back on the beam is very very joyfull. The little Q changes didnt effect me much, still good to hit. Also like the Voidlings in that status. Helping to push lanes really quick with no enemy around and they are a big help to crush down them towers. I think the summon range could be a little bit bigger, had some Problems to get the Voidlings over Blue Buff wall for fast camp clear.
Overall i really like the changes. Weaker early but burst power in mid to late!

When they started giving every god damn new champion a gap closer ability, it turned to shit. All of those new champs have a gap closer, distant poke, a nuke, a stun and some sort of survival thing. Some new champs are literal linear upgrades to old champs.

I really liked the older monster themed champs with quirky abilities, but these new champions had no weaknesses so it ultimately became a choice of "play an old champ and certainly lose" vs "play a new champ and have a chance at winning".

I used to be able to go mid with twitch and be able to beat any caster (except maybe leblanc) by going full crit runes and buying the 400 gold crit starting item. twitch had the strongest ult in the game, i dont think there are any ults in the game even now that had the same damage potential as twitches ult had. then they nerfed his ult hard by making item changes (particularly to tiamat)
