Fighting games require more commitment than any other genre just to not be a hamfisted retard. If you aren't playing with friends that suck as bad as you so you can improve at your own pace, or if you aren't going to put in 30+ hours a week, for several months (or more if it's an obscure title) just into the one game, don't even bother.
