I only used it to try out Mario Kart. I hated the game about as much as I thought I would, but I'm surprised at how well the emulator runs. There were some frame drops but the game otherwise ran pretty smooth. Pretty impressive.

I dunno what's improved exactly (as I haven't really touched BOTW until 1.8.0) but it's running really well for me. No AA+downscaled from 1440p runs at 30fps on my setup (7600k and gtx 960). 4k worked decently too in small areas, but ran at like 15-20 fps in the overworld.

I've played like 10-12 hours thus far and I haven't run into any glitches (besides the shrines/menus running at too many fps, but capping the fps in MSI Afterburner fixed that.)
