I am on my first ever playthrough of Bloodborne after multiple runs of the Souls games and I absolutely love it. A few things were already spoiled for me since it's been out, but I was reading up some of the wiki on the things I've already found and it's great fun, so much attention to detail as usual
I'm only at the Darkbeast Paarl, but I'm very excited to keep playing.

I liked it the most. Builds felt a lot more varied and and there was more fun spells/equipment in my opinion. Transforming weapons were a pretty neat concept but they honestly didn't feel any better to use than regular weapons for me.

Everything that Miyazaki touches is garbage. Souls is highly overrated, and I would truly be saddened if From allowed Miyazaki to direct the next King's Field.

Really, From Software left KF on a fair note. I don't think there's any reason to revive the series and risk shitting up the canon. I'm more than content to continue replaying the games in all their retro goodness, and maybe keep things fresh with some challenge runs.
