Like the other guy said but PSN is a bit different, they still have sales for non-Plus users, but Plus users get like a further discount on games.

Example: X game is 25% off, but Plus users get it for 33% off.

Charging to use your internet is a jew tactic, but at least Nintendo's costs 1/3 the price of their competitors and objectively has the best perks. The real test will be whether the netplay is actually decent or not. I personally give zero fucks, but if Spla2n or Arms run like ass then the Online isn't worth getting.

95% of console games are peer to peer. Everyone just needs better internet and equipment, but Nintendo could offer more options on what kind of people you connect with such as only people with good connections.

I expect that, which is why I'm probably never getting a Switch. I dropped Sony when they announced paid online on their PS4, and even though I've always been primarily a Nintendo fan I'm not giving them a free pass.
It's a shame because Spla2n and Odyssey look great, but I'm just going to have to wait until Switch emulation becomes passable 3-6 years from now.
