>Video game media and 'journalists' and 'critics' are still deathly afraid to say "pirate first", coating it in "buyer beware".
>Most are still sidestepping any talk about emulators
hahahahahahha

Piracy is ANTI video games.
You cannot trust the consumer to not pirate something.
If you don't pay for your video games you will in the end have shittier cheaper video games.
>>378772032
Imagine if music critics said that with newer Metallica albums. It would be horribly irresponsible for anyone to do.

Her face is more manly than his, wtf?

>If you don't pay for your video games you will in the end have shittier cheaper video games.
>All the PC games have microtransaction shit and those that don't have it are cheaply made sandbox video games.

It's pretty weird, now that you mention it
>>378772162
You cant trust the publisher to not shit up the game and lock 80% of it behind paid DLC, ""expansions"" and a "we'll definitely fix it in the sequel!" promise
>>378772032
Is that a man on the right?
>>378775097

Piracy isn't stealing.
>>378777176
Legally or not, it technically is. Just like a physical good, digital goods have material costs.
There's nothing wrong with pirating bigger titles like AC or COD or whatever other shitty games that people are still milking. The problem comes when you pirate indie games, passion projects. Even if the dev doesnt need the money, its still a good gesture to buy it, to rewarding him for his good deed. And in a way tell him to keep making good shit.
>>378777270
>it technically is
Nope, stealing means removing the source from the owner.
