MGSV was the object of my obsession for three fucking years. I had an existential crisis thinking that I would die before I could play it. It was going to be the perfect game, and it's still got the best base-level gameplay of any third person action game. It's just the very definition of wasted potential. I can't even say Kojima isn't to blame. The story is fucking pointless.

I want to believe. I just wanted a game about Big Boss and Outer Heaven.

False. The people in denial were in denial because "no fucking way would the big twist be THAT easy to figure out".
