I don't know why you'd expect Ubisoft to give a shit about anything that isn't expected to sell in the millions. I'm amazed they greenlit Origins to begin with, and I wouldn't be surprised it was Michel Ancel who pushed for Rayman 2 as a preorder bonus. One of those things that fall between the cracks, and the higher-ups never even noticed.

PC version isn't even the best port.
Play it on Dreamcast or PS2.
N64 is alright but it lacks the extra content and CD audio
PS1 is cut down by a lot.
DS is a shittier N64 version
3DS is an abysmal Dreamcast port
