Kingdom Hearts if anyone cares. The Ultima Weapon was the strongest in KH1, but in KH2 it was more the strongest balanced one since there was one that had higher strength bonus and a couple that had higher magic bonus.

First 2 stages you use default weapon then the rest of the game you can comfortably use other weapons. If you use default for most of the 3rd stage you can go through the true final stage without worrying of getting without ammo
