What's stopping Nintendo from uploading all their 1st party games packed in with emulators?
What takes them so long every generation?

They are autistic about perfect emulation. Every game they release gets playtested and such to make sure there are no emulation errors. This shit takes more time than you would think.

In their defense, they didn't make you buy the VC games from the Wii again, they just made you pay an OPTIONAL around $3 to use the Gamepad. You could use Wii remotes and Classic Controllers from the Wii just fine, just no Gamepad screen.
