then i just said i was 'busy' when they wanted to play for a month or so.

I played it a lot during the beta. Bought it day one. Clocked in 9 hours and stopped playing.

I just kind of wish the game was less bad.

I'm 150 hours in and still enjoying it. I've given up on comp, it's cancer, but there's no other shooter that is as much fun as OW. It's the perfect game to jump in and out of around other games.

About 2 hours during the free weekend (played it 5-6 in total because I was playing with friends). Tried all the heroes, they were all boring and teaspoon shallow, as were the game mechanics. Dota2 has way more interesting designs and they got like 100+ heroes with levelling, more abilities, etc. OW basically throws in MOBA heroes into an arena shooter. There are no items, no levelling, and no farming, which removes almost all complexity on the MOBA part, and the arena shooter part is no better, shooting feels shit, movement is slow, guns have zero feel behind them, and it's just awful.

I am amazed at how they managed to make a game so damn bland, it's easy to make a shit game but to actively have removed anything that may be interesting in it takes effort.

Playing during the free weekend reminds me why I never bought this shit

The downright shit-tier community, horrible hero balancing and the constant esport pushing bullshit made me fuck off a bit after Junkinsten's revenge. I pretty much only like the smut.

It's a game that pushes it's competitive aspect really hard but the game is built more like a party shooter/tf2 type deal. Blizzard are cuckolds that don't know how to manage an IP properly and it's become a laughing stock.

500 hours in and still not bored of the game yet.

100 hours. I was very excited at first and when they properly balanced Zen the first time after Ana dropped I had some hope, but around the winter wonderland was when I realized how shallow it was.

I only play with friends now if they ask me but it only takes a few games before I get dulled out of my mind. I considered coming back if they went through with their plans for Zen's orbs to pass through barriers but they pussied out, making it the only PTR change to not be implemented. Barrierwatch just isn't fun.

I guess I just like Splatoon more. Not even baiting, I think it's the better game.

Anyways I played from the launch of the game on PC until just right after Season 1 ended. No way to track actual hours, but I played daily and was pretty gud. Only addition to the game I experienced was Ana. Never played the new tank or the other bitch or even know what they do. In the interim between season 1 and 2 I just suddenly lost interest and stopped playing. I'd say I got my money's worth out of it, but if I were to start again now I'd have to relearn a lot of shit due to balance patches and new characters, this is actually a huge deterrent for me

It took me about 2 hours until I felt like I reached the skill ceiling on the character I played, and about 2 more to realize that the skill ceiling on the other ones is just as low. Hearthstone doesn't play like Magic. Since you have "sticky" damage and like a third of all creatures have Taunt in Hearthstone, it's way more about trading.

In Magic your creatures heal during the end step so they are harder to remove from play.
