yes but letting them have New Vegas is contributing directly to their impending collapse. They can't hold the territory they have, spreading them to New Vegas which everyone and their mother wants to take control of is just making shit worse. Driving the NCR out of New Vegas (and not letting it fall into the Legion's hands either obviously) is whats best for the NCR because people like Hsu will be vindicated while the upper management will be ousted and replaced as a result of their failure to take New Vegas. That means the people who are constantly driving the NCR to it's death through overexpansion will be gone, and replaced with people who know what the fuck they're doing and what went wrong. It's tough love if you're an NCRfag but it's ultimately what's best. They'll still get power from the dam, they'll just be paying for it. Better than the alternative.

That DLC was one of the most enthralling and nerve wracking RPG experiences I've ever played and so fucking memorable.
Best part was fighting my way to the Clock Tower to start the Gala, all limbs broken, no doctors bags, no medx, barely any ammo, then the fucking desperate scramble to get out as the ghost people crawl put of the woodwork
Overall I'd give it an 8/10, fantastic writing, story, characters carried by solid gameplay and environments

It's pretty great the first time around. I literally stumbled across it at only level 4. You really make use of the whole environment too scavenging for as much of Dean staches as you can.

But yeah it is actually pretty great. The second time around I did it I was at a higher level and you realise that you can literally almost just run through most of the DLC without even bothering with the the Ghost People for the most part, killing only the few you need to.

My 3rd run I'm forcing myself to do it at only level 1 this time to recapture the magic of the first time.

Caesar is a way better leader in my opinion, hes the type of leader to make 40% part of the legion 15% slaves 33% civilian and 12% of the population a lesson. Legion would also be good if Caesar wasn't so close to death and Legate Lanius was dead. Lanius will be the reason the legion fall. If the courier could replace both of them. I'm going to be fucking forced into doing a Cowboy run, I was plinking geckos in the 3rd person with a caravan shotgun and it was so satisfying. And you chuck dynamite at bigger enemies to cripple them so you may dispatch them easier.

Because Fallout 3 uses the engine from oblivion. Hell, the guns don't even shoot "real" bullets in 3. Your guns literally shoot reskinned Oblivion spells. That's why for example the 10mm pistol is so wonky or why automatic weapons like minigun or the chinese assault rifle "stutter" while firing full auto.

My Courier was a samurai from feudal Japan who after dying in a battle woke up in California in 2269 with a perfect knowledge on the English language. He traveled the watseland going from place to place, doing odd jobs to afford a living and helping people in need but seeking a good master.
He sought to restore his honor after Benny shot him and buried him alive, and in his quest he stumbled across House whom he considered to be a worthy master. He was tempted to join Caesar, but he didn't appreciate his brutality; this samurai was a follower of traditional bushido. He made up his mind after going to Zion and meeting Joshua, able to appreciate Caesar's cruelty first hand and finally accepting his worth to serve once more. Eventually, he was forced to blow up the BoS, whom he'd come to swore his loyalty to. He tried to negotiate a way out of it through Veronica but that ended with the Followers dead. Disgusted, he went with House plan, but ashamed with himself, he parted to the abandoned BoS bunker, from where he was dragged to the Sierra Madre. He managed to get everyone alive but by that point after so much cruelty he was kind of done. He pushed through with House's plan and eventually ended up in the Big Empty, when he finally put together that there was another Courier seeking him. That's what led him to the Divide, where the reveal that he might have been responsible for its destruction finally sent the Samurai off the deep end and had him renouncing to his moral values for the most part. He spared Ulysses anyway because he wanted to die by his hands. Still, he managed to take the Dam for House, though with just netural karma, ending his journey successful yet broken and probably beyond repair.
