The thing had no games, and it was ugly as sin. Also everyone already had phones. This had no place in the market. Admittedly a good idea, just... not now. Likely not ever.

The Amazing Frog? was the only good game off this and even then it's on PC

Besides, the Ouya controller's problem was that it was poorly made in general. It had problems like the buttons sticking.

The only Android games I'd want to sit down in front of a monitor and pick up a controller for, are either ports of old console games or indie game that have a PC port. Most mobile games are designed to be played for a few minutes at a go, like while you're killing time in between class or whatever. They're not worth $100 to pretend it's a console game.
The set-top Android devices that are selling well, are things like Rokubox, so that people can watch Netflix or Youtube or whatever without attaching their phone to their TV and draining it's battery.
