I stuck it out for those retarded quests that only count for the host, the endless gathering/slaying quests, the prowler quests, but the special permit quests is where I called it quits. Stick with GL offline, it shines better there. As a secondary I can confirm. You don't have to worry about sending people flying by accident on smaller monsters when the burst comes out. Red gauge is also easier to get when the monster doesn't move around too much, like in solo.

A brave evade is a long, high invincibility evade you perform during your brave sheath and brave moves take longer to perform but raise your Brave guage heavily

Once your brave guage is full, your moveset becomes expanded and you gain additional capabilities (HH can side dash and perform an extremely fast high damage recital, LS gets a new spirit combo with a guard point, etc)
Its a very fun and rewarding style imo

I'm certain it's leas to do with refusal intent and more to so with inability. The MH dev team has artists and thats about it. Through them the games get different monsters, different animations, new maps, textures and music for everything, but anything involving raw hotdog math is not accounted for. They reuse the same enginw, indicative of not knowing how to make a new one. Weapons are always poorly balanced, indicative of no legitamate understanding of simple math. Game features are arbitrarily dropped or carried forward between successive titles, indicative of poor understanding of game design. Crashing is indicative of being CS illiterate. About the only thing wrong with Monster Hunter are the people who have been developing it, and ironically enough is the only franchise Capcom owns that would have actually benefit from giving it to the west unlike Dead Rising, Lost Planet or Devil May Cry.

I've played most MH games and the only common theme between them is that they're not good. To finally make a good MH would essentially be not making MH at all.

Charge Blade is a new weapon for 4U and as such, has less variety as far as weapons made from monsters go. You can start grinding better armor first and if you decide to stick with CB keep upgrading the elite blade which needs only simple materials until you find something you like better.

I'd recommend making Brachydios CB when you unlock it, one of the best CB to have early on.

How is 4U's story bad compared to MHG's village request quests and obligatory prowler quests?

Now THOSE are fucking horrible and ACTUALLY affect your progress. They are just extra google searches you need to do in order to know how to unlock certain quests. MH4U's story would waste 10 minutes of your life total, in a 200+ hour game, and you could just skip throught it. It isn't a retarded as shit system like MHG's Village requests and prowler quest unlocks that have you travel from loading screen to loading screen to get rid of and sometimes don't activate the next step until you do a random quest but sometimes do, etc etc etc

NOTHING is worse than MHG's progression. You also have no right to complain about Apex Monsters when MHG has Hyper monsters, which are 10x more lazy.

Yep, I don't want cutscenes in monhun. Just throw me into a level with a monster and then leave me alone. A monster hitting harder with some attacks is way more interesting than just making you bounce off of it until you jump through hoops.

Play how you want to play, MHX just gives you options, you are not forced into playing any style. MHX is designed so that new players can have an easier time, this is intentional; but that doesn't mean you can't have a challenge if you want one.

Souls games do this reasonably as well, by letting the players make the game easier (summons, magic, etc) or harder (no levels, no shields,etc)

Forcing everyone to play no arts/guild is boring, and will do more harm to the series by cutting it all out in the next game.
