I'd say it can hold attention longer, but CS:GO and R6:S are very different apart from both of them are military FPS games.
Counter Strike will always be loved for it's simple yet super effective gameplay model, even if the core is getting a ton of shit like skins, crates, gambling, toxic community, etc. piled on top of it.
Rainbow Six: Siege has a lot more tactical elements to it that add to the gameplay, but I personally feel they should have stuck with (I believe) was their original idea for it and have all that tactical stuff but no differing operators. So, like a more tactical version of CS:GO.

A game breaking bug is a bug which as the name fucking implies breaks down the game, completely, as in you can't fucking beat the game anymore. For example in Skyward sword there was a game breaking bug where revisiting an area before a certain scripted event would kill a future scripted event required to proceed, effectively getting you stuck into that part of the game.

Hibana pellets blowing up late, or Thermite charges not blowing up the wood don't count as game breaking bugs, retards.

BF3 also plays almost nothing like Siege on top of handling said things far differently. It's a pretty big stretch to compare the two. For instance, droning isn't something every attacker automatically gets nor do defenders automatically get cameras, there's no setup time for defenders to utilize destruction to their advantage (as if anybody would regardless) nor is it a commonly used to people's advantages anywhere near the extent it is in Siege, and operator gadgets have less variety, less overall impact on a round, and are freely open to both sides and every player on each side.

Yeah it does, the sniper is another team member, you can have a team dedicated to snipe, the sniper will also notify you when he has his sights trained on a bad guy and if you want him to take the shot, or you can tell him to fire at will, OR you can manually control him (Aim and make him switch places if you want)

Again with the team control menu you can order for shit like "flashbang that room, breach this door, watch the back, stay here, go forward" and so on.

I only played SWAT 4, which I'd figure would be the one with more features. And the problem I had was that all of these tactical elements were extremely clunky and slow to control, especially the support sniper thing.

Also in rainbow you have to worry about your team members, if they die and shit. In swat iirc you'd just get less points for teammates down and their deaths weren't permanent.

She's not? The frost traps are placed horizontally, they also don't kill on contact unless the person had already been downed once. Kapkan traps can kill more than 1 person and just like there's rooms where frost traps are pretty inconspicuous, there's rooms where kapkan traps almost invisible. For example the doorframe leading into the main lobby of bank or the storage closet from kafe both make the traps appear pretty much invisible to the naked eye

Levels are also super small and missions lack challenge like that mission about a killer who has a girl kidnapped in the basement. Enemies in rainbow six would also surrender which would count as a non lethal takedown. Now tell me what exactly do non-lethal weapons change in the gameplay? they literally behave just like the lethal weapons, the difference is that the bad guy will end up having some constant pain animation instead of just being immobile on the floor

Siege is a piece of buggy shit but it's still the best competitive shooter on a market. Most of it's problems come from the fact that it wasn't supposed to succeed as much as it has. Ubishit have developed it as a quick cash grab before Division and now that it outshone games that Ubi wanted to succeed they don't know what the fuck to do.
