Yeah, if they suck. One group working on the car, One group working on the Telephone. Once police show up, drive while the other group escape. Of course people will die, and it might even be you. But you'll still get tons of exp (if that's what you want).

You're supposed to give a show. This mechanic kind of reminds me of Gladiator: Road to Freedom. You could just win the match in the fastest most efficient way possible, but then you wouldn't get shit because the crowd thought your match sucked. It's similar here, what's important is giving a show. Knocking Jason around, trapping him, getting caught, escaping, stealing his mask, etc. Even if you die, if you play as a team you'll end up winning.
The new generation of players are brainwashed with achievements and completing 5 hours games or be the hero of a competitive game and show off to everyone that you are. In this game, you can't always be the hero. You can still go out in a bang though. That's where the fun lies.

I want the teleport grab nerfed not because it's op but because it's anti fun. Give Jason a 2 second cooldown between teleporting and grabbing or attacking. Even it out by buffing his other abilities of you have to.

My suggestion is that Jason should get that 2 second nerf after a teleport but should get a free 2 seconds of both stalk and sense that automatically proc after the teleport. I think that would balance out so Jason is still OP but he is forced to rely more on his more interesting and lore friendly abilities.

It might not necessarily apply to the anon i'm answering to, but what I'm reading in this thread is mostly a bunch of whiners that complain because can't have a sure way to survive every match. Therefore it's all RNG and the killer is broken. On about 4 different days, on quickplay, I stuck around a few talkative pals that seemed to know what they were doing. We never died. That's about 25 games.

This brings the bad side of the game: you rarely ever get to be Jason, even with the spawn preference and the match sucks when Jason sucks at the game.

There aren't enough melee weapons to stun him for 20 minutes straight. I get what you're saying, and I've tried to do it before, but at some point the game's RNG (stun and damage chance is all based on RNG, even if you have the best stun weapon) decides that this time, Jason isn't going to get stunned and he can kill your teammates. Eventually you'll run out of melee weapons and be forced to flee with a teleporting killer behind you.
You can do this "group-bashing" tactic, but it'll never end with you escaping.

The correct way to play the game is to pick Chad and do everything in your power to make sure you are the only one who escapes.

His teleport needs a nerf there's no denying that and the game needs some fixes. I just think people go into this game with the wrong idea, it's more of a love letter to horror movie fans than a competitive game. People think that because you can't deal with Jason single handedly that the game is broken and you should be on an equal playing field with him. It's not always about surviving, sure you should always try to survive but sometime it's just not an option and that's ok. Even if all you did was keep Jason busy for a while whilst the rest of the team figures something out, you played a part.

The teleport is still a bit silly though, it's too easily abused.

Jason has to use a "sense" skill chained to a cooldown to either see from which direction something is making noise or if someone is scared they'll glow red. If they are inside a building, the whole building will be glowing but Jason will have no idea exactly where inside the counselor is.

Counselors who scare easily are also the ones with great stats to deal with Jason while the sneaky quieter ones do the objectives but are pretty much dead instantly if they get caught.

Most Jason players will usually go toward the nearest noise source and tunnel vision. They will eventually learn to adequately teleport and grab and start winning until the counselors players also learn that they can work as a team to protect each other.

Same here, I play Buggsy and usually run right towards Jasons position as soon as he is on someone and start trying to fight him but 90 percent of the players just try to 'Juke' him and never swing their weapons at him or fight back beyond throwing fireworks behind them and pocketknives

Different Jasons excel is different areas, if you like being a stealthy Jason that sits outside windows or in the lake silently take part 8 or 9, if you want the unstoppable Jason try 7 or Savini. You'll learn as you go on that some Jason's shouldn't be tested in certain areas, Savini Jason's shift is downright impossible to escape on foot so you need to use houses between chases with him.
