As a note, for anyone who hasn't watched Spoony and is not going to do so because he's gone mad, I'd say you're doing yourself a disservice.

He's mostly polarizing in his game reviews and only the ones you would expect like Final Fantasy. I still recommend Counter Monkey (though there are a few boring nothing episodes), his shitty movie reviews and FMV Hell.

Thieves World, Leaping Wizards, Tandem's Last Ride and Where Have All The Lawful Goods Gone? are good starting points. Shadowrun: The Code gets a note as my personal favorite because I can't get enough of hearing stories about people being bad at shadowrun.

I looked them up to see what you're talking about and it's not really that bad. They still release the ones that faint and only break the rules when they get completely wiped in a single battle so they can finish the rest of the game while still following the most important rules.
