I'd say it's worth for character interactions alone. Plus if you ever decide to replay Automata someday, there's alot of moments which probably didn't make much sense to you which would hit you a lot harder.

That's horseshit and you know it. Most Nier sidequests are completely pointless as in there's not even any decent characterization, lore, or a neat story within them. There are some good quests, like the one with the old mans dog, but most are flat out not worth doing.
