I went back to SSF2 on Mame just for nostalgia and man I had more fun with it than I did with SFV.

I don't like this combo bullshit. It slows down the pace of the game. And now combos are so much easier to pull off that there's no real excitement to pull off a big combo.

Why did Fighting Games in general start catering to combofags?. If I wanted to memorize button inputs I'd play a rhythm game.

He doesn't have as many dumb create advantage/knockdown for no risk options, I think he'll kind of shift to be played more lame but still be bretty good. They didn't nerf fierce at all, which is hilarious. Probably the most annoying thing about fighting him.

Ibuki is really really strong. Further investment with her will pay off. Being new, the fundamentals you're learning will hit with her the same they would with Ryu/Akuma. They're definitely easier tho. Try your best to develop a gameplan.

Since when have you played Ibuki? How much time are you putting into the game? I would say that this is my first serious entry into fighting games and my advice, coming from someone who moved from Nash to Urien, is to keep practicing. I would try to play daily, even if it is for a few matches.

It all boils down to I don't know what buttons to press. I eat a lot of pressure because I don't know what buttons to press when I have my opening. I knock them down and they get up scoring a combo on me because I don't know what buttons to press on their wake up. I score a jump in and then just do a hit into grab because I don't know what buttons to press, and so on.
