I thought that game was one of the best representations of depression I've ever seen, and it absolutely mopped the floor with the awful hamfisted "games" like Depression Quest.

Granted, it's still a shitty RPGMaker non-gameplay experience that takes twenty minutes to beat. But in terms of shitty RPGMaker non-games, it was pretty good. Then again if you don't have severe overwhelming depression and crushing loneliness than you won't really relate to the game.

TL;DR - It's a depressed neckbeard game intended for depressed neckbeards like myself.

Persona 4, if only I could meet Naoto for the first time again...

Probably Dark Cloud 2 just to experience it all over again. I think it still holds up as a good rpg for even today's standards
