If the other three replace three others fro last weekend, I feel like anybody who mains Spring-a-ling, R-I-B-B-O-N, and the Egyptian Prime Minister is safe, and Ninjara and Min Min seem less likely given their popularity. Helix and Mechanica seem like the obvious picks to replace though.

Play him honestly, as in respecting attacks and other peoples arms, Charge a ton and dash move while you are fully charged, you parry attacks like that. Don't be dissing his jumps plus air dodges, that helps me set up grabs and wall bounces like crazy. I mainly play with traditional, but I've been the top of every lobby that I soloed mained springman in. Oh and this is the most important part, Have fun.

Ice seems interesting but we don't have too much of it in the demo outside Ice Dragon. Very potent slow that basically disables dashing and jumping. They can still punch normally though. Chilla and Coolerang could be fun to use.

Learned a few things about the different ARMS so far but I wish there was an CPU that would attack so I can practice blocking, dodging, and parrying.

Double slapamander is great 1v1.
Jump and dash like hell.
Drop straight down and charge by holding dash mid-air.
If you're against Mummy or Mechanica, swap one slapamander for a sparky. A charged electric punch goes right through their bullshit.

Also dashing around is hard as hell with motion controls.

Ribbon Girl tips

>If opponent is being agressive try to double jump over his punches then dive in front of him to attack him, this is even better if you have a Sparky Arm equipped because it will be charged after diving which will allow you to stun and either grab them or unleash rush if you have it charged without fear of opponent dodging or blocking it.

>If you are in a dodging fest with opponent and have the Slapamander Arm equipped curve it towards the direction he is jumping to try to hit him.

You can attempt to grab while airborne, and if the opponent moves out of the way, you can do another quick hop and airdash to get out of the way of their counterattack, preferably with a grab that'll hit this time.

It's good against slippery targets who'll focus on counters rather than make the first move themselves, good for other Ribbons, Ninjaras and possibly Helix who know no one plays him.

I tested it a bit in the waiting room.

Mechanica and Master Mummy only have super armor while punching, dashing, and jumping. They have no armor and flinch normally while standing or walking.
Mechanica has super armor while charging because of her extended dash (land and air), Master Mummy does not.
Heavy weapons don't seem to break super armor.
Charged fire, wind, and electric weapons break this armor.
Charged stun, ice, explosive, blind, and non-elemental weapons do not break the armor.

After testing this I realized Mechanica can literally just dash towards someone through their punches and hit them with her own charged hits. Her ground charges extend her dash and have super armor, while powering up her arms at the same time. Just have to be careful of fire, wind, and electric charges.

So I played the training room with the exploit and I still can't figure out these motion controls. I don't want to use button controls since they're inferior and I wish there was some middleground. I cannot get used to the tilt movement or the use of L and R for jumps and dashes for the life of me. I'm also remembering that I'm not very good at fighting games.I was really excited for this game but due to these problems, now I'm not so sure. It's more of an issue with myself than with the game though.

It's likely the most complex input in the game. If you've played a fighter ever this is not difficult. I've literally only practiced one combo in one fighting game ever and it took me 10 minutes to do this with 80-90% consistency. I'm also not arguing towards its ease of use, nor the efficacy of wide grabs in the first place.

I'm simply saying standard controls can do wide grabs. That's all that matters here.

Now lets say a popular character like ninjara Was actually OP His win rate should sit around 50 percent Because both sides are using it.
The real OP characters are the characters that sit at 50% winrate or close to it.

Sometimes I had to mash to get in and would take several tries giving me an error that I need an internet connection. It works after a while. 2P mode seemed to give the error more often.

You can do wide grabs with standard controls. See >>378496241

It's a fast input but having played fighters at least once in my life it comes more naturally to me than twisting my arms left and right then punching and curving my wrist in the opposite direction and all that. I also don't see what curving can do with motion controls that standard can't. It seems to me the tradeoff of motion and standard is simply easier punch aiming vs easier movement, and they both roughly equal out in the end once you're proficient. Unless the ability to send out two punches and curve them in opposite directions becomes particularly useful in 1v1 scenarios.

Yeah, that's one of the things i'm working on with the exploit, was so focused on movement and couldn't get used to the stick click.

That was the first time I used the electric ball, normally I use the dragon to control the opponent movement, then follow up with a quick curved punch with ramram
