I'm fairly sure those mods exist exactly if you just go looking for them.
You'll still not really get to play your own character though, due to bethesda's writing.

I hate that now you think back, adding a voice protag was really just a desprate attempt to casualize the game and make it approachable for people who just play action games, the first step in a transitional period from RPG to just plain action shooter.
Plus a lot of their new systems were just experiments hacked together by dudes, fallout 4 really was more of a guinea pig game than a product made for consumers, talk about the real vault tech experiment.

Calling it now, fallout 5 wont even let you make a character.

Nevertheless, there was a deagle mod and a mod that turned the Red Rocket station into a fully developed building that were pretty good. Also there was an Atomic Radio station mod which added a new station with a couple ads and mock shows in between songs being played.

First of all, it's got shit writing. Second the stats have been dumbed down to a bunch of bland perks which has the triple effect of making stats boring, perks boring, and every character the same since you can pick everything regardless of starting SPECIAL. Fourth, the loot system is shit because instead of cool guns with interesting stories attached to how you get them or the weapon itself, everything is generic EPIC LOOT XDDD random effects shit that makes getting end game gear fucking boring.

Fifth is settlements which could have been cool on a smaller scale building up a town that has character and purpose, but instead you are pestered into liberating like 20 shitty little towns with nameless npc's for literally no purpose, while you base town always looks like shit because Bethesda is fucking lazy. Sixth complete removal of all stat checks beyond generic "speech" check which is lame as fuck, which ties into number seven: voiced protagonist, which not only reduces the amount of dialogue options you have to pick from in conversation because of budget concerns, it also adds nothing to the game except a bland protagonist personality who you can't roleplay as anything other than slightly annoyed dad/mom.

Fuck Fallout 4 and fuck Bethesda, no it isn't "a good game, but a bad Fallout game" it's a shit game and a shit Fallout game PERIOD.

Not really I had a easier time modding Fallout 4.
I installed tons of mods with NMM and had 0 crashes or fuck ups.

Meanwhile I tried to mod Skyrim with MO and Wrye Bash and the entire Game went to shit.

actually, having all of those utilities is why it's so easy to mod. you literally don't have to do anything yourself except for making sure you overwrite textures in the right order, run FNIS, and shit like that. even using TESEdit to manually change variable and make custom patches is idiotproof

-Abduction(makes it possible for you to capture nearly any damn npc in the game and make them your slave, any npc that isnt in the mod you can add through an easy script in the ck. Perfect for slaver roleplaying)

To be honest nothing beats Second Life when it comes to sex/porn shit. It has about every single animation, model and fetish you can imagine.

Plus it's multiplayer so you get the ERP too.
On the bad side it runs like ASS and you'll have to pay up for those models/animations.
