Thief Gold

Are you shit posting or just don't care about turning the thread into a dark souls contrarian fag fest?
Dark souls 1 is probably my favorite game of all time though. I've played it through ng+7 with different builds and it's still fun to start a new character and play. I'm just sad I'll never get to experience getting good ever again. I got stuck at just about every boss for for at least a few attempts, and my fight with gwyn lasted about an hour because of my shit build and having ignored parrying the whole game. I also didn't upgrade any shields until my second play after I got the dlc, and that fucked me for gwyn too. My strategy for kalameet and manus ended up being tanking hits with a +15 black iron great shield.

What's your favorite video game then?
nier automata is the best /v/ recommendation I've got so far
NieR 1

There's a mod being developed called the Item Randomizer Mod. It seeks to take away enemy drops and soon enough shop items, and randomize everything, though in a way that prevents locking yourself out (you'll never find the Depths key inside the Depths with no way in for example). This adds new challenge to the game. You'll be forced to work with whatever you find, including key items, so you might have to take alternate routes through other areas to reach the place you want.
>>378434689
we need to fucking BAN this mod
>>378432927
risk of rain is pretty good, grabbed it while it was still on sale for like 2 bucks, it surpassed my expectations and i'm enjoying it so far
>>378433616
I have never seen anybody on /v/ discuss the thief games
>>378432927
not the best, but Soul Nomad and Radiant Historia definitely exceeded my expectations
I thank /v/ every day for exposing me to the dogma
Honey select
>>378432927

Deus Ex, EDF, Risk of Rain, Stalker, Sengoku Rance, System Shock 2, EYE.
Use a little common sense as to what you like and a lot of the games discussed here are top notch.

You're a massive homosexual.
>>378432927
Thief (or Looking Glass in general), although I rarely ever see Thief threads on this board anymore.
Ys was also alright, I have only played bumper cars so far though.
>>378436569
You haven't been here for long enough then.
